Montreal Canadiens Surprise The Washington Capitals

As Alex Ovechkin found a way to shoot the puck right past Canadiens goalie Jaroslav Halak at the beginning of the third period, the crowd roared in amazement and there seemed to be more hope in the loyal Caps fans’ eyes that Washington would take down Montreal.

Unfortunately for Washington, one of the officials discovered that Ovechkin’s linemate Mike Knuble was inside the goal crease despite the replay suggesting differently. There was no goal and the Washington Capitals fell bitterly to the Montreal Canadiens with a 2-1 loss, ending their season in the play-offs.

It was surprising to see Montreal pull this off after experiencing a three-games-to-one deficit against highly skilled Capitals, who were standing with the NHL’s best record of regular season.

The top three NHL teams within the Eastern Conference have no been eliminated and Montreal will move on to their second round on Friday against the defending Stanley Cup Champions,

Spring brings Sporting Events

Spring is eventually here! With Spring comes flowers, green grass and sunlight and it brings us my fave sporting events. Big league Baseball starts with the New York Yankees defending their World Series Championship. All of the other groups will be attempting to chase the Yankees. Will this years surprise team be the Boston Red Sox, los angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago pups or the Cincinnati Reds? Will a heavy outside bet like the Atlanta Braves or Tampa Bay Rays or Minnesota Twins have a breakout year?

The NHL playoffs start and this year will the Pittsburgh Penguins defend the Stanley Cup or will the challengers come from a list that includes, The Detroit Red Wings, San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks or the Boston Bruins.

Does the winner come from the Big Ten’s Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan’s Wolverines, Michigan country’s Spartans or perhaps the Iowa Hawkeyes or Purdue Boilermakers will ultimately get over the hump. Can

Watch Senators vs Sharks NHL 2009 Preview

Watch Senators vs Sharks NHL 2009 Preview:

Season series — This is the lone meeting between the teams this season. Patrick Marleau broke a 1-1 tie via the power play in the second period to lead the Sharks to a 2-1 win at Ottawa on Feb. 26.

Big story — All eyes will be on this one as it marks Dany Heatley’s first game against his former team since the ex-Senator was traded to Ottawa on Sept. 12. Milan Michalek and Jonathan Cheechoo became members of the Sens in the same deal.

Team Scope:

Senators — Cory Clouston had mixed feelings about his club’s most recent performance on Saturday night in Boston. After blowing an early 2-0 lead, Michalek forced overtime when he scored with just 19.3 seconds remaining in what turned out to be a 4-3 shootout loss to the Bruins at TD Garden.

“I thought we got off to a real good start, almost too good, too soon,

Passing Kidney Stones Naturally And Painlessly

The common first symptom of a kidney stone is extreme pain which begins suddenly when a stone moves in the urinary tract and blocks the flow of urine.

Passing Kidney Stones Naturally the painless and peaceful way.

Also called renal calculi in medical terminology which has the Latin origin ren or renes meaning “kidney” and calculi meaning “pebbles”, kidney stones are solid concretions or crystal aggregations formed in the kidneys from suspended urinary minerals. Uric acid stones are another type of stones.

Tracing the ‘evil BAND-it genius’

In cystinuria, too much of the amino acid cystine, which does not dissolve in urine, is voided, leading to the formation of stones made of cystine. The “silent” stonesthose that do not cause symptomsare found on x-rays taken during a general health exam.

High-oxalate foods include rhubarb, spinach, beets, Swiss chard, wheat germ, soybean crackers, peanuts, okra, chocolate,

Watch Olympic Hockey Canada Vs. United States Online

The long anticipated USA vs. Canada Mens Ice hockey game has finally arrived at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games and it is sure to live up to the hype. This game is sure to be exciting, because USA and Canada have had one of the biggest rivalries in Olympic Ice hockey history.

Both of these teams have their fair share of NHL players. It can be said that Team Canada is a stronger overall team however Team USA definitely has star power.

Some of the main members of the Team USA Ice hockey team are Nhl’ers Zach Parise and Patrick Kane. Goaltender Ryan Miller is one of the best the NHL has to offer and he will be doing everything he can to make sure that Team Canada doesn’t have it’s way with Team USA. Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas is also a good option for the Americans, who are stacked in the goaltending category. Other notables to look out for on team USA are Phil Kessel, Jamie Langenbrunner and Paul Stastny . With all this firepower it’s easy to

The Washington Redskins invited former Philadelphia Eagles RB Brian Westbrook to camp this week for a visit. If Daniel Snyder signs any more past-their-prime veterans he’ll be able to approach AARP about naming-rights sponsorship to the team’s D.C. stadium . . .

What’s the reward for the winner of the Boston Bruins-Philadelphia Flyers series? A showdown against the sizzling Montreal Canadiens. First, the Habs shocked the NHL by eliminating the top-seeded Washington Capitals. Last night, they sent Penguins fans home in disbelief, eliminating the defending Stanley Cup champions in seven games . . .

I don’t understand how Manny Pacquiao can serve as a congressman while continuing to box. Is he going to “Tweet” his legislative votes from training camp? Honestly, I think he is doing a disservice to his constituents by continuing to box. How can he stay abreast of the nation’s issues while preparing for major bouts that will absorb all of his
